A beautiful drive with interesting stops and an informed tour guide/driver.

We had a pleasant and beautiful drive from the center of Rome to the Amalfi coast. It included a trip to Sorrento, which, we found to be gorgeous and charming It was a wonderful tour and we (4 ladies) were very happy that we booked it. Cudos

We were really impressed with our tour guide. We covered a lot.

This trip was very memorable, considering this was our first trip to Rome, to Naples and Pompeii. It was a very good tour, though tiring at times but worth every penny we paid. The tour guide was very friendly, very knowledgeable, very precise, and knows what he was talking about. Our bus tour guide was awesome. Sorry, I forgot their names, but I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to tour Pompeii and Naples. Now we know where to go and book if we ever want to explore more of Rome like Venice next time.

Tour perfecto para conocer Amalfi y Positano en un dia saliendo de Roma, los 2 lugares más bellos de la la Costa Amalfitana.

El punto a destacar de ItalyXP es la puntualidad y el profesionalismo de sus guías. Hacer una parte en tren de Alta Velocidad lo hace muy eficiente. LLegas a las 10 am a la terminal de tren de Nápoles y cuando es medio dia ya has recorrido una gran parte de la costa amalfitana y te encuentras en Positano para almorzar en uno de los muchos restaurantes que se encuentran en el centrico o en la playa. Despues de disfrutar la magia de este lugar te llevan a la magnífica Amalfi y tambien tienes tiempo para admirar, caminar y disfrutar un poco de este paraíso, Cuando son las 7:30 de la noche estás de vuelta en Roma, en Termini. Sin lugar a dudas la mejor opción para conocer Amalfi y Positano en un dia, saliendo de Roma.

Local guide in Assisi was good.

Over-all, the trip was amazing, especially because it was a small group. Again, the issue was the waiting time at the meeting place, the guides were confused as to which bus to send us. The restaurant in Assisi was good. The only let down was the guide, Stefano, who accompanied us from Rome to Assisi. He was absolutely useless. He spent most of his time chatting with the driver. The route to Assisi was picturesque but the guide decided to just clam up.

Visit to Pompeii with an amazing local tour guide.

The activity was good. Minor issues to point out - while we were picked up from our hotel on time (thank you), when we got to the meeting place, the people in-charged of assigning tour participants to their respective buses were very disorganized. While we got there very early, we were the last ones to be shepherded to our bus. My family ended up sitting away from each other as there were no seats available anymore. Would also suggest that you consider another restaurant for lunch. Food was not good at all, service was really slow, and most important of all, the waitresses were very rude.

A fantastic trip into the past.

I left Rome Morning at 07.15 and arrived at 10.30 in Naples where, for two hours I had the chance to discover a different side of Italy. From the harbor you can see Capri but also Vesuvius. Lunch is a choice between pasta and fish. Do not miss the chance to drink the best espresso possible. After lunch, in 30 minutes reach Pompeii, and every word is superfluous. If it says "Vedi Napoli poi muori" Pompeii is much more. Not to be missed!
