Day 1: Rome
At your arrival at the Airport of Rome, a private transfer will take you to your Hotel. Free time for dinner (NOT included) and meet your tour leader. Overnight.
Day 2: Rome
After breakfast, join this day in Rome during your free time: discover its most famous sites such as Piazza Repubblica, Terme di Caracalla, Circo Massimo, Colosseum and Roman Forum. You can decide to book, with an extracost, the optional tour to the Colosseum. We suggest you to have a walk in the Jewish District, to visit the Synagogue or taste the local delicacies of the area (lunch NOT included).
You can also decide to visit Borghese Gallery, one of the most important private art collection in the world, or discover the Monti neighborhood, that combines modernity with the appeal of tradition. Free time for dinner (NOT included) and overnight.
Day 3: Rome - Montepulciano - Pienza - Montalcino - Siena
After breakfast, departure to Val d’Orcia, a wonderful area World Heritage by UNESCO. You will arrive to Montepulciano, the medieval town also known as "the pearl of the Sixteenth Century", where you will have a wine "Nobile" tasting. Your next stops will be Pienza, gem of the Renaissance, and Montalcino, the land of the Brunello wine. Here you will also join a second wine tasting! Enjoy your free time to have lunch in a typical restaurant (lunch NOT included).
Then arrive to Siena: dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Siena - Chianti area - Siena
After breakfast, join a guided walking tour of the best attractions Siena, starting with the Piazza del Campo, famous for the “Palio” race, to explore other beautiful attractions of the city centre.
Discover the notorious Chianti area. You will have a local wine tasting; join your free time to discover the area and have lunch in a typical restaurant (lunch NOT included).
Return to Siena for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Siena - San Gimignano - Pisa - La Spezia
After breakfast, arrive to San Gimignano, the wonderful medieval town with its tall towers rising above the hills. Then transfer to Pisa to discover the renowned Leaning Tower in Piazza dei Miracoli. In both cities you will have free time to explore their heritages and have lunch (NOT included).
Afterward, you will be driven to La Spezia. Free time for dinner at your leisure (NOT included). Overnight.
Day 6: La Spezia - Cinque Terre - Genoa
After breakfast, departure from Cinque Terre, to discover one of the most impressive location on the Mediterranean area. You will have the opportunity to admire by the sea wonderful gems of the Mediterranean Sea such as Rio Maggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso, thanks to a boat ride (in case of bad weather, the boat trip will be replaced by train).
After the visit, depart to Genoa. Once arrived, enjoy your free time for dinner at your leisure (NOT included). Overnight.
Day 7: Genoa - Milan
After breakfast, join a guided tour of Genoa to explore the neighborhoods, the narrow streets of the old town. Then you will have free time to discover the city centre on your own and have lunch in a typical restaurant (NOT included).
Later you will depart to Milan. Once arrived, enjoy your free time for dinner at your leisure (NOT included). Overnight.
Day 8: Milan
After breakfast, you will start the day first with a panoramic tour of some central areas, then with a walking guided tour of the center of Milan. You will visit the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Sforzesco Castle and the Teatro alla Scala.
You will have free time for lunch (NOT included). In the afternoon you can choose to book an optional excursion, with supplement, on Lake Como. Free time for dinner at your leisure (NOT included) and overnight.
Day 9: Milan
After breakfast, private transfer to the airport or train station at the agreed time.
