Day 1: Milan
The first stop will be Milan, where you will reach your hotel by a private transfer and you will meet your tour leader. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2: Milan and Lake Maggiore
After breakfast in the hotel, you will start with the tour of Milan. You will visit the Cathedral, the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, the Sforza Castle and the most famous attractions like Teatro alla Scala. In the afternoon, you will reach the exclusive Lake Maggiore. You will stop at the town of Stresa where, weather conditions permitting, you will board through Isola Bella, part of the Borromee Islands. Once there, you will admire the fabulous Borromeo Palace, in baroque style and its wonderful park with fountains, statues, flowers and exotic trees. At the end, you will return to your hotel in Milan.
Day 3: Milan
The 3rd day you will enjoy a free time in Milan to see the landmarks you will miss. Alternatively, you will have the chance to book an optional excursion with an additional supplement, you can decide to go visit the Lake Como, enjoying a full day, or to go shopping at the Serravalle Outlet, where you will find many convenient deals and discounts on top brands. Overnight at the Hotel in Milan.
Day 4: Milan, Sirmione, Verona, Venice
You will leave Milan and on the way to Venice, you will stop at Sirmione, on the Lake of Garda where you will see some landmarks like the Catullus Grave. The second stop will be Verona and during the travel, you will admire the hills surrounding the city of Romeo and Juliet that give it its harmonious aspect. Once there, you will have some free time to visit the city. At the end of the tour, you will continue to Venice and you will arrive at your hotel.
Day 5: Venice
After breakfast at the hotel, you will reach St. Mark Square by a private transfer. Your guided tour will begin with a panoramic visit of the St. Mark's Sestiere, where is located the famous square, surrounded by monuments like the St. Mark Basilica, the Clock Tower, the Doge’s Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs. Afterwards, you will have free time and at the arranged time you will return to your hotel with the transfer.
Day 6: Venice, Padua, Ferrara, Florence
After breakfast, you will depart towards Florence and on the way you will discover two woderful gems. The first stop will be Padua, where you will visit the Sant’Antonio Basilica and the Holy Grave. Then, you will depart to Ferrara, a medieval city that has lived a great development during Renaissance, and whose urban layout makes it “the oldest modern city of the world”. There you will have free time for lunch (we recommend you to taste “Tortellini”) and you will enjoy an autonomous walking of the city. At the evening, you will reach your hotel in Florence.
Day 7: Florence
After breakfast, you will have a panoramic tour of Florence historic centre with the exterior visit of the Cathedral complex with the Giotto’s Tower, the Baptistery and the Cathedral. The guided tour will continue towards the Signoria Square, the politic heart of the city during Medici time and you will walk across the most interesting streets and squares, including the Repubblica Square and the Ponte Vecchio. After lunch, you will have the afternoon at your leisure during which we recommend you to visit a museum (Uffizi or Accademia Galleries). Overnight stay at your hotel in Florence.
Day 8: Florence, Perugia, Assisi, Rome
After breakfast, you will depart to reach Rome. The first stop will be Perugia, where you will visit the historic centre and the Cathedral. You will enjoy free time to stroll around its streets carved into the rock and you will have the chance to taste its typical chocolates. The second stop will be Assisi, where you will enter into the San Francesco Cathedral. Then you will reach your hotel in Rome.
Day 9: Rome
After breakfast, the day will start with a panoramic tour of Rome that includes many of the most known attractions: the Repubblica Square and the visit to some of the most important archaeological sites of the city like Terme of Caracalla, the Circus Maximus, the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. The tour will include also Venice Square, Castel Sant’Angelo, and the Vatican Square, where you will externally admire the St. Peter’s Basilica. Then you will have the chance to book an optional tour, with a supplement, to visit the inside of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica. In the afternoon, with an extracharge, you can take a guided tour of the Coliseum. Then we will take you to the popular Trastevere Quarter, from which you will return on your own at your hotel.
Day 10: Rome
After breakfast at the Hotel, you will reach the airport at your appropriate hour by private transfer, if needed.
