8 Days Italy vacation package: from Rome to Florence and Venice

Day 1: Rome

Arrive in Rome! Check into your hotel and enjoy the sights.

Day 2: Rome

Your journey to Rome will sweep you back two thousand years in time. Spend the first part of your time exploring the city and monuments on your own. In the evening, you’ll get to take a panoramic tour of Rome and see the illuminated monuments, including Trevi Fountain, the Roman Forum, Circo Massico, the Colosseum and Lungotevere. Return to your hotel and overnight.

Day 3: Rome

Wander the city at your leisure before returning indipendently to your hotel for the last night. 

Day 4: Rome and Florence

After your tour of Rome, travel to Florence by train and spend the day touring through some of the city’s most incredible attractions. You’ll visit the Piazza del Dumo, home of Museo Del Duomo and hundreds of pieces of significant art. You’ll also get to see the bronze Door to Paradise at the Baptistery de San Giovanni, Giotto’s Bell Tower at Florence Cathedral, Uffizi Gallery and Piazza della Signoria. After a delicious Italian lunch, you can explore Florence at your own pace. Then head to your hotel for good night of sleep.

Day 5: Florence

On your second day in Florence, you have your choice of activities. You can buy jewelry on the Ponte Vecchio, enjoy a stroll in Boboli Gardens, or walk along the edge of Arno River. If you’d rather take a day trip to Pisa or San Gimignano, you can arrange to do that instead! Go back to your hotel when the day is done.

Day 6: Florence and Venice

After a breakfast at your hotel, you can buy jewelry on the Ponte Vecchio, enjoy a stroll in Boboli Gardens, or walk along the edge of Arno River. If you’d rather take a day trip to Pisa or San Gimignano, you can arrange to do that instead! Later, take the train to Venice and check into your hotel.

Day 7: Venice

Your tour of Rome, Florence and Venice ends in the lovely city of Venice. After a night in a Venetian hotel, your tour will begin in the morning under the clock tower in St. Mark’s Square. Soon, you’ll be off on a walking tour of Venice! You’ll be impressed by the Piazza and the Saint Mark Cathedral. You’ll walk past majestic Doge’s Palace, where the residence of the dukes, the seat of government and the Court of Justice were once located. Finally, you’ll encounter the famous canals of Venice, where you’ll see the Bridge of Sighs and enjoy crossing the bridges and canals at your leisure. End your trip with a night in Venice. 

Day 8: Venice

Enjoy your breakfast before the tour comes to an end.
