The tour also includes a visit of the splendid interior of the Saint Mark’s Basilica, one of the greatest churches in Italy.

Discover the center of Venice and its main attractions

You will meet your friendly tour guide at the Saint Mark's Square, the main square in Venice, and from there you will start the tour: walking through the picturesque alleys of the historic centre you will admire lots of beautiful monuments, such as the Doge’s Palace and the Campanile, among the most famous and photographed in the city, and you will learn a huge amount of art and history from your tour guide.
From here, the tour proceeds to the Castello district, an area in the north-east of the Saint Mark’s Square. The first stop will be at the church of Santa Maria Formosa, one of the most important religious monuments in the city. The next step will be at the Basilica of Saints John and Paul considered the Pantheon of Venice.

Admire the finest examples of Byzantine architecture in Venice

The walking tour includes other stops in the center of Venice, passing along the main points of interest such as the Marco Polo’s House and the Malibran Theatre, before returning to the Saint Mark's Square through the path of Mercerie, which is considered the main shopping street in Venice.
Then you are going to have about an hour and a half break, which you can use to relax or to explore the surrounding area. After that, you will enter the Saint Mark’s Basilica for the second part of the tour: thanks to your skip-the-line tickets you can enter the building avoiding long queues of tourists.

Visit the Saint Mark's Basilica and its treasures

The Saint Mark’s Basilica is the largest and most famous of the churches in Venice. Accompanied by your professional tour guide you will discover more about its art and its history, as you will admire its magnificent interior.
