The first thing everybody sees when in Milan's city center, the Piazza del Duomo, is of course the Duomo, Milan's Cathedral. Visitors stare in awe at this mighty display of human achievement, with good reason. With this tour you will have the chance to have a guided visit of the Cathedral, with accesso to the terraces on top of it.
The Milan Cathedral is one of the largest cathedrals in the world. Truly an outstanding display of a world that has come and gone, the mighty splendor of the Milan Cathedral is awe inspiring. You and your loved ones will be able to explore the ins and outs of the Cathedral, as well as experience the wondrous vistas offered on the terraces on top of it during this guided tour.
While the Cathedral is open to the public, this tour allows guided visit to the interior of the cathedral. You will have time to experience the elegant, almost surreal beauty of the Milan Cathedral. You will have plenty of time to wander, explore, and admire the fine details of such an important piece of Italian religious and world history.
Such an important piece of history does have its oddities. The history you will learn from your licensed, English-speaking guide is history not found in any textbook. You will learn about some curious oddities of the Cathedral, including everything from the Sundial Trail, to the Ritual of the Holy Nail, to the story of the Apostle who was skinned alive, and much more.
After admiring the classical splendor and reverent atmosphere in the interior, you will be guided to the elevator that will take you up more than 90 meters (300 feet) to experience the full glory of Milan. The panorama of the city will truly inspire awe and will take your breath away. You will have plenty of time to take pictures of the city, the skyscrapers, and the classical skyline of the city.
The two and-a-half hour tour will end with a chance to enjoy authentic Italian gelato between the months of April and October, as well as a surprise ritual meant to inspire luck and goodwill upon the visitors!

Please note that all the travelers must pass the security controls at the Cathedral's entrance.
To enter the Cathedral, please respect the dress code and keep your shoulders and knees covered. These rules are mandatory for access and could be grounds for exclusion from the tour without refund. Also, we advise you to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
The tour will run on rain or shine. In case of heavy rain or snow, the Duomo institution might decide to close the terrace. In this case we will hope for clearing weather with the understanding that no refund or discount will be given if we won't be able to visit the terrace due the weather condition. In case of heavy rain will be given the option of an alternative date subject to our availability.
Please do not carry large bags whilst on this tour. We recommend to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
