Entry to the Vatican Museums is based on strictly timed tickets. For this reason, late arrivals cannot be guaranteed access.
All visitors must have a photo ID for the security check.
The Vatican Museums imposes a mandatory dress code: knees and shoulders must be covered, otherwise you will not be able to enter.
St. Peter's Basilica won't be available for visits on Wednesday, the tour will include Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel only.

Rome in a spin!
We only had a couple of days in Rome, so we decided on a private guide to make the most of our time in the Eternal City. The guide took us for the afternoon to The Vatican, Sistine Chappel and St. Marks. The next morning we did Ancient Rome - The Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill.
The guide was amazing, relaxed, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. She seems genuinely excited in showing us her city. We would highly recommend these tours.
