Day 1: arrival and overnight in Venice

Arrive independently at a pre-determined hotel in Venice. Meet your expert tour guide. Rest up overnight before embarking on tomorrow's journey. Dinner at your leisure.

Day 2: visit Verona, Sirmione and Lake Garda, Lake Como, Milan

After an american-style buffet breakfast at the hotel, board the bus to visit Verona, the town made famous by star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet. Other two of Shakespeare's plays, The Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Taming of the Shrew, were also set here. Aside from its literary fame, Verona is home to a historic Roman amphitheatre and is recognized for its artistic heritage, shows, and operas. Verona has also been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, courtesy of its urban architecture.
Proceed to Sirmione, a lovely town located on a peninsula within Lake Garda, Italy's second largest lake. Here, receive a guided tour of the town and its historic centre. After the tour, you'll have some free time for lunch in this stunning setting.
In the afternoon, continue to Lake Como, one of the deepest lakes in Europe and also considered one of the most beautiful. This glacial lake has long been a favorite destination of aristocrats, since Roman times. Tour the lake by bus, taking in the lush scenery and panoramic vistas of villas and castles dotting the lake's edge.
In the evening arrive at the hotel in Milan, where you will eat dinner and stay the night.

Day 3: Milan tour (and Rome)

After an american-style breakfast at the hotel, start the morning right with a panoramic tour of Milan, Italy's second most populous city. Founded by Celts, Milan later became the one-time capital of the Western Roman Empire. Centuries later, it became a center of Italian resistance during World War II. Milan has long been a center for economic, social, and political debate and is currently the main industrial, commercial, and economic center of Italy. While strolling the streets of Milan, listen as your trusty tour guide recounts the city's extensive history and shows you its secrets. 
Our tour will end at the central train station in Milan, right before lunch. From here, you have to options: choose to stay in this enchanting city on your own, or head back to Rome by bus, arriving in the evening.
