Eat breakfast on your own, then meet at our office in Rome or arrange for us to pick you up at your centrally-located hotel. Board our comfortable coach and head toward the mystical walled town of Assisi.
In Assisi, visit the Basilica of Saint Francis, whose namesake was born here. This grand basilica is adorned with artistic masterpieces from the early Renaissance era by the likes of Giotto and Cimabue.
Proceed to Siena for a tour of this medieval city, home to the Palio horse races. Back on the bus, continue to Florence. Eat an exquisite Tuscan meal at the hotel in Florence and rest up for another day of adventures.
Eat breakfast at the hotel, then take a guided sightseeing tour through Florence, seeing firsthand why this lovely city is known as the "Cradle of the Renaissance". Tour Florence's most famous landmarks, including the Piazza del Duomo, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery of Saint John, and Santa Croce.
The rest of the day is free to spend as you wish. Perhaps eat lunch in a local restaurant and stroll through quaint streets and shops. We recommend heading to the nearby Pisa to see the world-famous Leaning Tower.
Meet again for a delicious dinner, included in the tour, at a local restaurant in Florence, where you will stay the night.
Eat breakfast at the hotel, then leave for Venice on a comfortable coach bus. On the way, stop in the lovely town of Padua, where you can see Donatello's masterpiece Gattamelata in the famous Cathedral of Saint Anthony.
Once in the incomparable city of Venice, follow your knowledgeable guide on a walking tour of the city's most famous monuments and landmarks. See Saint Mark's Square and the Basilica of Saint Mark, Doge's Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs. Listen as your guide shares the secrets of this fascinating city on the water. Eat dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in Venice.
Eat breakfast at the hotel, then traverse the waterways of Venice by boat. Travel across the Lagoon, marvelling at the stunning islands while en route to the Island of Murano, famous for its glass blowing. Here, assist in a glass blowing demonstration and spend some time shopping for artisanal glass souvenirs. Free for dinner.
After an American-style buffet breakfast at the hotel, board the bus to visit Verona, the town of star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet. Proceed to Sirmione, a lovely town bordering Garda Lake. Here, receive a guided tour of the town and free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, continue to Como Lake, one of the deepest lakes in Europe and a favourite destination of aristocrats since Roman times. Tour the lake by bus, taking in the lush scenery and panoramic vistas. In the evening, arrive in Milan for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Eat breakfast at the hotel and start the morning right with a panoramic tour of Milan. See landmarks such as the Sforza Castle and one of the world's largest Gothic cathedrals, the striking Duomo.
Our tour ends right before lunch, at the central train station in Milan. Stay in this enchanting city on your own, or head back to Rome by bus, arriving at around 7:30 PM.
