This excursion allows you to spend a special day departing from Naples, to discover Sorrento, an amazing town concentrated along the coast of the sea. The second stop will then be Pompeii, one of the most famous archaeological areas in the world.
Pick up in Naples
The tour will depart from Naples, where the pick up service will be available for you: a driver will come at the address you specified at the moment of booking and you will reach the Port of Naples to join the rest of the group. It will then be time to take the hydrofoil for a pleasant journey to reach Sorrento. The route lasts about 40 minutes, during which you will have the cahcne to take photos enjoying the stunning panoramas of the Gulf of Naples.
Sorrento by hydrofoil
Once arrived in Sorrento, you will get the opportunity to walk with the guide and get to go to the town centre and also get to discover its rich history and culture. Sorrento has the features of a typical coastal town, and it is located in southern Italy featuring narrow roads, the cliff overlooking the seas, and the amazing artisan shops. It is one of the most popular touristic spots of the South of Italy and it is characterized for its posh and elegant boutiques where to find peculiar souvenir. Duing your free time for lunch, we also suggest to tast the "limoncello", a typical liquer made out of the famous and tasty lemons of Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast.
Pompeii
After the morning spent in Sorrento you will take the hydrofoil to go back to Naples, where a driver will wait for you to take you to the second part of the day tour: the archaeological area of Pompeii. An expert guide* will explain you everything about the fascinating history of this ancient Roman town destroyed by the explosion of the Mount Vesuvius. During the walking tour you will be enchated by admiring the ancient villas with frescoes and artworks of roman times, unique in the world.
