Day 1: Rome to Naples, Pompeii, and Sorrento
You begin the tour by traveling south across the Roman countryside that is dotted with charming old-fashioned villages to arrive at Naples. You will be embarking on a panoramic tour in which you will climb the Vomero hill that will give you a remarkable view of the Gulf of Naples with the Vesuvius, Ischia, Capri. You can snap pictures then head to the bus that will take you to a restaurant for lunch with real Neapolitan Pizza. After lunch, the bus will take you to Pompeii ruins and use 'skip the line' tickets you will visit the ruins in the city. Afterward, you will be driven to Sorrento through the Sorrentine Coast to arrive in time for dinner and overnight stay in your new hotel. The dress code for the dinner is a jacket for men.
Day 2: Sorrento
Spend the day by exploring Sorrento on your own or with an optional excursion. You can have breakfast and dinner at your hotel.
Day 3: Sorrento to Capri
After breakfast, you will proceed to Capri and onto a rowboat to visit the Blue Grotto, if weather permits. After getting back to the port, you will get on board a minibus that will take to Anacapri, which is 918 feet above sea level. After enjoying the view, you will go to a local eatery for lunch (included). Explore at your leisure and rest in the afternoon. Check-in and overnight at your hotel in Capri. Dinner not included.
Day 4: Capri
After breakfast, explore the city of Capri and discover the many restaurants and shops on the sunny island. You also have the option of booking a separate excursion to Anacapri or visit other ancient landmarks on the island. Return to your hotel in the evening and stay overnight. DInner not included.
Day 5: Capri to Sorrento and Positano
After breakfast, proceed to Sorrento via ferry and get on board the coach heading for Positano when you reach the mainland. The bus will pass through the Campania region which is along the Amalfi Coast. At Positano, register at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner not included.
Day 6: Positano
Explore this ancient fishermen's village after breakfast. Take a walk to the heart of the village, which is famous for its summer resort area and go through the narrow streets and gardens that overlook the bay. You can spend a little money to buy handmade sandals or straw handbags. Then get back to the hotel for one last night. Dinner not included.
Day 7: Positano and Naples
The tour ends today at Naples, where you will go to after your breakfast at the hotel in Positano. Dinner not included.
