The tour of Vatican from Florence will begin with a train ride from the charming Florence.
You will arrive in Rome by train in the morning. You will catch the train from Santa Novella Station in Florence, where you will be assisted from our staff. Once in Rome, you will get by your own to the Vatican City and you will meet with our local expert guide, ready to start your incredible tour. Your guide will take you to the Vatican Museums, for an unforgettable journey into the history of art. As one of the richest and most interesting museums in the world, you will have the opportunity to admire and learn more about some amazing painting and sculpture masterpieces, but also religious art.
The highlight of the Vatican Museums tour is the Sistine Chapel, where visitors have the unforgettable chance to admire the masterpiece of Michelangelo, especially the impressive Last Judgment paintings. The guide will also lead you to other areas of the museum to admire other famous artworks, like the Pio-Clementino halls for the Laocoon or the Apollo Belvedere, the Tapestries, the Maps Galleries and others.
The next stop in this inspiring tour of Vatican and Rome from Florence will be inside the Saint Peter Basilica, one of the most recognized religious edifice in the world. After admiring the exterior architecture, the guide will present the famous sculpture of Michelangelo, La Pietà.
