Trani is located in the Apulia region, in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, and  is known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic". This city is famous for its Romanesque Cathedral that overlooks the sea, as well as for the production of Moscato wine and a particular type of marble, the "Trani stone".
