You will meet your friendly, professional tour guide at the Saint Mark's Square and from there you will depart to discover some of the main landmarks of Venice. Walking through the picturesque alleys of the historic centre, you will admire some of the city's most famous attractions, such as the Saint Mark’s Basilica, the Campanile and the Doge's Palace, and you will learn a lot about those incredible monuments.
Then, the walking tour continues to the district of Castello, one of the most fascinating in all of Venice. You will stop from time to time to admire some points of interest, such as the Church of Santa Maria Formosa and the Basilica of Saints John and Paul, which is particularly significant for this themed route as it is the place in which are buried many of the Doges of Venice.

The tour will then continue to the San Marco district: here, you will walk through the maze of alley and canals, visiting places such as the house of Marco Polo, the famous Venetian explorer whose history is intertwined with that of the Doges, and the Malibran Theatre.

The first part of the tour will take place entirely outdoor, as the attractions and the monuments are visited only from the outside. The second part of the tour, however, will be a guided tour to the interior of the Doge's Palace.
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes. In the summer, bring a bottle of water; in the winter, bring an umbrella.

Woderful Venice
Venice is a place quite unique in the world and well worth a visit if only for a day. The port of Venice is on its northern boundary making access to the city simple if you are combining your visit with a cruise elsewhere and it is small enough to get round very easily either by foot or gondola (if you have a few extra euros to spare?)
St Marks square is a must, but somewhat busy understandable and look into the shops in the tight back street where face masks are of great interest.
