Come and visit the treasures in the Borghese Gallery which houses large collections of Caravaggio’s artwork and Bernini’s sculptures. The gallery building was integrated with the Villa Borghese Gardens. We will also tour the Pincio Terrace on Pincio Hill for a panoramic view of Rome. From here, we will proceed to the Spanish steps in Piazza di Spagna.

Borghese Gallery

Visit the Borghese Gallery at the Villa Borghese Gardens that holds a collection of artworks by Caravaggio and Berninis sculptures. The most famous sculpture are the statue of Paolina Borghese by Canova, the Apollo and Dafne by Bernini and the Young Bacchus by Caravaggio. There are other paintings which include Raphael’s Entombment of Christ and Titian’s Sacred and Profane Love. Enjoy the beautiful architectural designs of the Galleria Borghese houses.

Pincio Terrace

Above the Pincio hill connected to the Borghese Gardens, is the Pincio Terrace which sits directly above the Piazza del Popolo, located inside Villa Borghese, one of the biggest park of Rome. At the Pincio terrace, you will see the beautiful view of the Vatican and a sweeping view of the city. It is known to be one of the most favourite viewpoints of Rome.

The Spanish Steps

After the tour of the Gallery and the walk up to the Pincio terrace, the small group guided visit will bring you to the Spanish Steps square, one of the main attractions of the centre of Rome. The monumental 135 step - stairs between the Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Trinita dei Monti is the steep Spanish stairs. Designed by Alessandro Specchi and Francesco de Sanctis, it is a hot spot for many young adults and romantic couples. Climbing up the stairs, you can reach the Villa de Medici.
