The next stop in the second part of the day is another beautiful town ruined by 79 A.D. volcanic eruption of Vesuvius. Unlike Pompeii, a flourishing commercial center, the Herculaneum was a quiet, coastal residential town with a few markets here and there.
Arriving in Herculaneum, you will have around 2 hours to discover the excavations with a guided tour. During the return journey, the tour group will also stop at the well-known point of Cameo Atelier, a typical production of the area. Return to Amalfi, Positano, Praiano, Ravello o Maiori.
