You will find three archaeological sites of world importance in one day
Come back to the port in time to board on your ship!

Our day trip is the perfect choice for those who arrive by cruise / ship at the port of Naples or Sorrento: our pick-up service with private minivan will pick you up directly at the harbor and takes you to visit three archaeological sites of great importance, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Oplontis. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to the port.

Visit the ruins of Pompeii on a day trip

The first half of the tour will be at Pompeii, frozen during time as a result of the tragic eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD that submerged the entire city up to 10 feet with volcanic materials. You can visit the ruins of Roman shops, spas, gyms, brothels and other ancient buildings, miraculously preserved over the centuries, discovering amazing evidences found in the area.

Explore the ruins of Herculaneum and its wonders

Herculaneum, just like Pompeii, was a Roman city that disappeared due to the same eruption. In this case, however, the mud layer of the volcano was so plentiful even to protect it better both from raiders of the treasures and atmospheric agents. You will visit the spacious houses, shrines, baths and villas of rich Romans in the region, beautifully decorated with frescos and mosaics.
At the end of the tour, you will come back to the port (Naples or Sorrento, depending on your requirement) to board on your ship.

Enjoyable trip to Pompeii

We booked the trip to Pompeii and Herculaneum. We were picked up in a minibus by our guide Fabia. There were only 8 of us in the end. We were looked after very well. Our guide was very knowledgable about both sites and made it very interesting. Having the earphones made it easy as we could always hear wherever we stood. The restaurant we were taken to at Lunchtime was perfectly fine. I would recommend seeing the sites this way as Pompeii especially is vast and a guide made it so much easier.
