With the transfer service, included in the tour, you will leave from the center of Naples by bus to Pompeii: there you will meet your guide who will accompany you on a walk through the ruins of the ancient Roman city, perfectly preserved by the eruption of Vesuvius that in 79 AD submerged it up to 10 meters. Visiting amphitheaters, gymnasiums and markets of Pompeii, you will relive the ancient and fascinating story of this city, doomed to be destroyed by a natural disaster.
After the guided tour of Pompeii, you will visit a typical manufacturing laboratory of cameos and coral, and you will have the opportunity to see the working process of the artisans, and to buy the products. Please note that the temperature atop the Mount Vesuvius is generally lower than at its base and the wind can be quite strong. We therefore recommend to bring with you proper clothes.
