Our chef will welcome 12 guests into his wonderful cooking space in Florence, just few steps from Ponte Vecchio, for an unforgettable taste of Tuscany. The experience includes a typical Tuscan lunch, tiramisu tasting and cooking demo of how to make varies Tiramisu.
Light Lunch with your personal chef
Why dine in a restaurant when you can enjoy an authentic meal in the with a local chef? Located in the heart of Florence, right near the Boboli Gardens, your meal will highlight what's fresh and in the season. Lunch might include focaccia with olive oil and local cheeses (pecorino, stracchino, etc) or slow-roasted vegetables and a creamy risotto. The meal always includes a main course, an appetizer, and the three kinds of tiramisù for dessert. Both lunch and tiramisù can be made GLUTEN-FREE on request.
Tiramisu Demo Cooking
A cooking demo will take place right after lunch and tiramisu tasting. Learn and observe the techniques and skills from the chef on how to make the authentic traditional tiramisu. Not only will the chef show you the original recipe but you'll learn different tiramisu recipes using different ingredients. In addition, you'll receive excerpts from the chef's tiramisu cookbook, so you can make this tasty treat back home.
Sample Menu of Florence
An Italian meal always includes the appetizer, main course and followed by dessert. Here with your local chef, you will be introduced and served appetizer that will depend on the seasonal products. You might get to taste fresh mozzarella and tomato salad, aged Tuscan cheeses (pecorino, stracchino, etc) served with local salami and accompanied by the traditional homemade focaccia baked with regional olive oil. The main course varies on the seasonal products served with roasted vegetables and creamy risotto. And lastly, you'll be served the traditional dessert made with a mix of sweet mascarpone and crisp cookies: Tiramisu. In fact, you will get to taste 3 different kinds of tiramisu!
