A tour to discover in 8 days all the best places of Sicily, learning everything about art, culture and traditions of this wonderful region of South Italy.
Day 1: Palermo
Meeting with the group at the Hotel in Palermo. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2: Palermo, Monreale
After breakfast you and your group will head to Monreale, known for its wonderful Norman Cathedral with moisacs and for the Cappella Palatina. You will have lunch at your Hotel and then a free afternoon to explore the city or surroundings at your leisure. For example, we suggest you to visit the astonishing town of Erice. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 3: Palermo, Segesta, Trapani, Agrigento
In the morning, after breakfast you will be ready to leave for Segesta and Selinunte, to admire its majestic Doric Temple. On the road to Selinunte you will have the chance to enjoy an amazing view from the Bus: the Salt Pans of Marsala, with its picturesque structures and landascapes. Also the "tasty side" of Sicily will have an important role in this day, since the lunch will take place in a local typical restaurant together with an olive oil tasting. After lunch you will head to Agrigento, to admire the well known Valley of the Temples, one of the hugest Ancient greek site in Italy, proclmed Unesco World Heritage.
Dinner and overnight in Hotel.
Day 4: Agrigento, Piazza Armerina, Catania
The destination of the fourth day will be Piazza Armerina and its "Villa Romana del Casale", where you can admire the splendid polychrome mosaics of the famous Villa Romana del Casale, World Heritage Site. After the visit you will have a typical lunch and then a transfer to Catania, where you will continue your trip through the delicious sicilian cuisine with a tasting of typical desserts, such as cannolo.
Before coming back to the Hotel for dinner there will be a walking tour in the historic centre,
Day 5: Catania, Etna, Taormina, Catania
Hopefully on a sunny day, after breakfast it will be time to dicover the highest Volcano of Europe: the Mount Etna, with its 3345 mt.You will reach by bus the Rifugio Sapienza and then the Sylvester Craters where you can enjoy a spectacular panorama over the Ionian Sea: it will be breathtaking to explore a such peculiar place that it even reminds of a moon landscape! AFter the visit you will stop in a local farm for lunch.
The afternoon will be dedicated to the charming and "glamour" city of Taormina that you will visit at your leisure: we suggest to not miss a visit to the Greek Amphiteatre and why not, also a bit of shopping!
Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Catania.
Day 6: Catania, Siracusa, Noto
After breakfast, departure to Syracuse, one of the jems of Sicily where you can visit the Greek Theatre and Dyonisus Grotto. You will have lunch in a local restaurant and then you will go to Noto, to discover its precious Cathedral.
You will then go back to Catania for dinner and overnight in Hotel.
Day 7: Catania, Messina, Cefalù, Palermo
Your tour is about to end, but also the 7th day will take you to unforgettable places: Messina, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view on the Strait of Messina and a panoramic tour. The lunche will be held in the pcituresques town of Cefalù, a fisheries village with a stunning Norman Cathedral.

Day 8: Palermo
After breakfast, end of the services.
