The first part of this walking tour will be the new Galleria del Sale (“Gallery of the salt”), the first contemporary open air art gallery in town: 15 striking wall graffiti painted by local street artists, to celebrate the relationship between man and nature. The walking guided tour continues by bus to reach the heart of the historic centre. We will go browsing for the best handicraft shops that sell high-quality hand-made clothes and products made by local artisans. But you will also visit elegant boutiques, jewelleries, workshops, and much more!
Visit the most representative markets of the city
This unusual walking tour of Cagliari will also take you to visit the San Benedetto Market, which represents the historic food market and one of the biggest in Italy, with about 240 stalls where to buy local produce and all sorts of Sardinian goodies. Information:
This tour will be both on foot and by bus to reach the historic center. The price of the bus ticket for two hours is 2€ per person for two hours, and 3€ per person for the whole day.
We suggest wearing comfortable clothes and sunglasses. In the summer months, it is also recommended to bring some water.
On Sunday, the market of San Benedetto is closed and it will be replaced with the flea markets.
