Day 1: Rome
Welcome to Italy! A private transfer will take you from the Airport to the hotel in Rome, if needed. You will have time to spend at your leisure and you will meet your tour leader later in the afternoon, according to the information you will be given at the reception. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2: Rome-Siena-Milan
After breakfast, departure for Milan enjoying the route immersed in a typical Italian landscape, enchanting frame of vines and olive trees. We will stop in Siena, where we can admire the splendid palaces, the cathedral and the fantastic Piazza del Campo with the Town Hall, where the "Il Palio" horse race takes place. Arrival in the afternoon in Milan and free time to visit the main attractions, such as Piazza del Duomo where there are monuments such as the Gothic cathedral, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and the Teatro alla Scala. Overnight at the hotel in Milan.
Day 3: Milan - Sirmione - Verona - Venice
The final destination of the day will be Venice. But on the road departing from Milan, we head towards Sirmione to visit the waters of Lake Garda where you will know the points of interest such as the Villa de Maria Callas and the Caves of Catullo. Then, departure towards Verona, where you will have free time to enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the city of Romeo and Juliet and its beautiful attractions. Accommodation in Venice.
Day 4: Visit to Venice
The day 4 will be dedicated to the discover of Venice. First of all, we visit Piazza San Marco. We will make a thorough visit of the "Sestriere di San Marco" where the famous square is located and where there are monuments such as the Basilica of San Marco and the Clock Tower. We will visit the Doge's Palace explaining the sad story of the Bridge of Sighs. Aftert that, you will enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own leisure. A the agreed time, transfer to the Hotel and overnight.
Day 5: Venice-Padua-Ferrara-Florence
After breakfast, departure for Florence, with two interesting stops on the route. First, in Padua where we will visit the magnificent Basilica of San Antonio da Padova, with the Saint’s tomb. After free time, we leave forthe second stop: Ferrara. It is a medieval city that has also experienced a great flowering at the time of the Renaissance, and whose urban architecture makes it "the most ancient modern city in the world". You will explore the city on your own, having lunch if you wish (we recommend asking for tortellini) and take a walk around the city. Departure for Florence, cradle of great artists such as Dante, Petrarca and Donatello. Free time and accommodation in Florence.
Day 6: Florence
On this day you will discover the magnificent Florence. First, visit of the historic centre with the exterior of the Cathedral complex: Giotto's Tower, the Baptistery with the famous Heaven's Gate and the Duomo, with the imponent Brunelleschi's Dome. We will continue towards Piazza della Signoria, which was the political heart of the Florence of the Medici. We will enjoy the most evocative streets and squares, visiting also the Piazza della Repubblica and the Ponte Vecchio. Afternoon at your leisure, we recommend to visit a museum, such as the Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia Gallery. Overnight in Florence.
Day 7: Florence - Perugia - Assisi - Rome
After breakfast, departure from Florence and first stop in Perugia to visit the centre with the incredible Duomo. Free time to walk through its picturesque streets carved into the rock or perhaps you may want to taste the typical local chocolate. Then we leave to reach Assisi and visit the well-known St. Francis Basilica, along with the charming city centre, typical of central Italy. Departure and accommodation at the Hotel in Rome.
Day 8: Rome
On the day 8, we will discover the fabolous Eternal city. In the morning, you will join a sightseeign tour of the city, including attractions such as Piazza della Repubblica,, the Archaeological Rome with the Baths of Caracalla, the Circus Maximus, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. We will also pass through Piazza Venezia, the nerve centre of the city, the Sant'Angelo Castle and the outside of the Basilica of San Pietro (depending on the religious events). After this tour, you will enjoy some free time in the city centre. As an alternative, you can book one of our optional excursions, with a supplement, such as the visit of Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and the St. Peter's Basilica otr of the Colosseum. In the late afternoon we will take you to the famous Trastevere district. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 9: Rome
European breakfast at the hotel and private transfer to the airport, if needed. End of our services.
