A wonderful golf course not far from Rome
The golf course was designed by architect Robert Trent Jones, respecting the ancient volcanic crater and inserting the fairways in the lush vegetation, where Mediterranean olive trees and pines merge with vineyards, cypresses, mimosas, citrus trees and rose gardens. The Club House was the villa that Flavio Chigi, Cardinal in Sassia and nephiew of Pope Alessandro VII, built to welcome the famous beauty the "Peahen".
A techicanl itinerary that every golf lover will appreciate
The name remains to indicate the villa and the town. During the centuries, this villa has seen various transfers of property. From the balcony of the villa, you can enjoy the whole panorama of the Rome golf course: the holes are embraced by just one glance and all becomes more "private" and striking. This is a very technical itinerary, formed by a total of 18 holes and 72 par, for an overall surface of 6.205 meters.

The Castelgandolfo Country Club also has a Pro Shop and a welcoming bar and restaurant. The Rome golf eXPerience includes green fee, tee time booking, golf bag and cart rental (manual or electric) for 9 holes golf. This is a standard package, but you can also add optional services, such as a 30-minute lesson with a PGAI teacher (from the Italian Professional Golf Association), participating to the day competition and the transfer service to and from the Club.

Golf in beautiful and friendly settings
We had a wonderful time in Castel Gandolfo Golf resort last year so we decided to come again this year and were not disappointed. The course was as beautiful and challenging as we remembered and the staff even more friendly than we remembered

Uno scenario fantastico
Il posto e' veramente stupendo, un campo da golf a 18 buche in un cratere vulcanico, una bella piscina ideale per rinfrescarsi ed un ristorante dove poter gustare pietanze prelibate dello chef Guido.

Lad's Golf trip
A brilliant golf course. You can see all 18 holes from the Club House. Kept in good condition. I would play there again.
The staff were excellent. Everyone who worked there made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable

Bel campo da golf inserito in uno splendido contesto naturale. molto bella anche la villa e il servizio è buono. Persone accoglienti e cordiali. Un pò da rivedere gli spogliatoi degli ospiti che risultano piccoli e un pò datati. Per il resto tutto perfetto
