Day 1: Pienza - Montepulciano
The first day of this special self-drive tour will begin with a tour of Pienza, one of the most enchanting towns of south Tuscany, together with Montalcino and Montepulciano. Pienza is mostly known as the birthplace of Pope Pius II and you will discover the marvelous architectural treasure the city is proud of with this visit of Pienza.You will then continue with a visit of a typical farm in Pienza, where you can learn about the fabrication of cheese and taste the local products together with a glass of wine. In the evening, transfer to Montepulciano for overnight.
Day 2: Montepulciano – Montalcino - Montepulciano
After breakfast, you will begin with a short tour of Montepulciano, a charming town located on a tufa plateau and renowned for its delicious wine. You will visit a winery in Montepulciano and have the chance to sample the delightful "Vino Nobile".The afternoon will continue with a visit of Montalcino, famous in the whole world for the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino wine.
