Cinque Terre Shore Excursion, with transfer service, from Genoa

Spend a day at your leisure with private transportation at your beck and call. Take the opportunity to visit Via dell'Amore, Manarola, the Azzurri in Riomaggiore and Monterosso al Mare, San Giovanni Battista church, the old Santa Croce oratory and the San Francesco church in Cinque Terre. As you enter the fortified village of Vernazza, look out for the Tower and the Castle of the Dorias, the medieval façade of the Santa Margherita di Antiochia church. And in Corniglia, admire its precariously situated town on a cliff but a truly unique landscape to behold.

The Terraces of Riomaggiore

The first village that you will pass through is Riomaggiore. Riomaggiore is a colourful terraced village in the valley of La Spezia province. Here the "Via dell'Amore" leading to Manarola is a romantic walkway carved out of the cliffs, surrounded by splendid landscapes. This is perhaps one of the most romantic spot in Cinque Terre that stands perched on a steep promontory of dark rock. The main square is surrounded by two oratories of the Disciplinants of Santissima Annunziata or the Azzurri. All around are terraced hills and dry-stone walls with vineyards and olive groves.

Traditional Monterosso al Mare Village

Monterosso al Mare is an old seaside village between Punta Mesco and the Tinetto Island, offering a view of the most scenography beaches in Liguria. The Fegina beach is the biggest and the only sand beach and is an architectural heritage. Here you will find the Gothic façade of the San Giovanni Battista church, the old Santa Croce oratory and the San Francesco church where there is a painting of the Crucifixion attributed to Van Dyck.

Fortified Vernazza

Vernazza has the appearance of a fortified village perched on the slopes of a rock with lanes leading towards the town's small harbour. It was built by the Genoese as a place of defence leaving behind evidences of typical house-towers, such as the Tower and the Castle of the Dorias. The large vineyards, the medieval façade of the Santa Margherita di Antiochia church, houses coloured with typical Ligurian colours and craft shops in the narrow alleys speaks of Vernazza as a traditional village in a fairyland.
