A private food tour to discover the flavours of Florence

This private food tour will start in the morning, when you have an early opportunity to taste an authentic Italian espresso in a typical bar in the centre of Florence: that coffee is a tradition, and while you drink it, you will understand why no Italian can start the day without it.
Then, the tour will take you to the discovery of a typical Florentine dish: the "Truffle Sandwich", which simply is a sandwich with ham and topped off with a special truffle cream that makes its flavor unique.

Taste the typical food of Florence

The food tour will continue along the streets and alleys of Florence, while your guide will tell you stories and interesting facts about the city and its traditions, particularly those about delights.
There also will be a stop at the Central Market of San Lorenzo, a charming place beloved by tourists and locals; here you can find the most genuine and fresh products, while the atmosphere will fascinate you with its uniqueness.

Discover the real Italian wine and other typical products

During the tour, you can taste some local products, such as the olive oil, the croutons and the "schiaccia", a typical Tuscan dessert. Further, you will also stop in a typical winery, where you can enjoy a glass of wine accompanied by a selection of Tuscan cheeses and prosciutto.
This gastronomic tour will end at an ice-cream parlor in the centre of Florence, where you can enjoy a great Italian gelato: the best way to conclude this fascinating private tour of the culinary traditions of Florence.

Fabulous Food Walking Tour

I had an awesome time with tour guide Beatrice, she took me through the history around town while trying out different local food in different places. My goodness, the different types of food I tried were amazing. I'm satisfied that I chose private over group option, Beatrice was beyond my expectation and found her service to be highly professional and very knowledgeable. As I got to know Beatrice during our short time, I felt her passion and love for Italy. Thank you for your time Beatrice!
