This two day gastronomic tour of Tuscany will make you fall in love with this special part of Italy, an experience of a lifetime though the most beautiful and insightful destinations of southern Tuscany. You will get the chance to sample not only the most delicious traditional products of south Tuscany, but also the famous wine of the region.
Day 1: Pienza - Montepulciano
The unique Italian experience will include the three gems of the south of Tuscany, Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano, enchanting destinations full of character. The gastronomic tour of southern Tuscany will begin with a visit of Pienza, where you will have the chance to admire the marvelous Renaissance architecture created after the election of Pope Pius II, who was born here.The tour of Pienza will include a visit to a typical cheese farm, where you get to see how the traditional product is created, but also taste some cheese and salami with a glass of wine. After this delightful visit, you will drive to Montepulciano for the overnight.
Day 2: Montepulciano – Montalcino
After breakfast, the gastronomic tour in Tuscany will visit Montepulciano, where the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is produced. After a short visit of the town, you will visit a winery in Montepulciano, learning about the wine production process and enjoying a light lunch with a wine tasting session that will reveal the true valor of the best Tuscan wines.In the afternoon, you will also visit Montalcino, famous in the whole world for the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino wine. The tous ends here, but we suggest you to visit also San Gimignano.
