Day Tour from Florence to Visit Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena

Spend a special day touring Tuscany from Florence – acknowledged as one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. You'll visit three towns, each with their own wealth of cultural and artistic treasures to explore: Pisa, San Gimignano, and Siena, and enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch with wine.

Visit Pisa, and the famous Piazza dei Miracoli as well as the Leaning Tower
Tour San Gimignano, dubbed the ‘City of Towers’ – an authentic medieval hilltop village
Enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch along with some of the region’s best wines
Explore the gorgeous Chianti countryside in a fully-fitted GT Coach
Conclude the tour at the awe-inspiring cathedral in Siena, along with the Piazza del Campo

Trying to take in Tuscany in one day is a nearly impossible feat, but this tour makes a good show of things; art, culture, history, cuisine, and of course wine are all featured, along with some of the regions' most famous sights.

A day tour to discover some of the best cities in Tuscany

The tour starts from Florence and begins early in the morning with a tour of the city of Pisa, home to the world-famous Leaning Tower.
You'll learn that Pisa has much more to offer than the Tower though, and will also visit their incredible Cathedral and Baptistery, along with the Monumental Cemetery.

Visit San Gimignano, a beautiful hilltop village in Tuscany

Moving on, the tour proceeds to a vintner's estate nestled in the foothills of one of the most famous of all medieval hilltop villages – San Gimignano. You'll enjoy a delicious, hand-cooked Tuscan lunch and get to taste some of the most delicious wines made in the region, many vintages of which are famous throughout the world.
After lunch, you'll proceed down into the village proper, where you can marvel at the location once dubbed the 'City of Towers' in an era when everyone who was anyone was building them. You'll wind your way through the maze of cobbled streets and explore local artisan shops.

Admire Siena and its famous landmarks

Leaving the City of Towers, you'll proceed through the Chianti countryside to Siena, where you will be met by our specialist guide for a tour of the Piazza del Campo and Cathedral.
Following this final stop, there will be time for coffee and a snack, as well as a bit of shopping should you so desire. Everything will conclude with a lovely ride back to Florence in the middle of a Tuscan sunset.

The perfect way to see so many beautiful places.

My family and I had a wonderful tour. Everything was well organized and well planned. Our tour guide Irenea was a gem! I felt we spent just enough time at each of the three locations. The delicious lunch was complimented by the beautiful view! Hopefully, we will have the oppotunity to return to Italy and book another tour with ItalyXP!

The Duomo in Siena is beautiful!

a great way to see 3 cities quckly in 1 day. Our guide was very professional, informative, and helpful. Theres a 1 hour tour in Siena with a resident tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and described the Palio and took us to the Duomo in Siena, which was my favorite church during my trip. Then we went to a viniard and had lunch - pasta with meat sauce, bruschetta, and wine. The view was fantastic. Then we went to San Gimignano and had about an hour free time. You cannot beat the view of the Tuscan countryside from here! Then to Pisa. We had about an hour free time. Its not really enough to explore the basilica as much as one might like and not enough if you want to climb the leaning toweror go to the baptistry. But I thought it was just fine to take pics outside the tower and Piazza dei Miracoli. There's a good amount of driving, but the tour is well organized, informative, and you see some really breathtaking views and momuments!

San Gimignano,Sienna & Pisa Tour

we had Giulio as our host...amazing personality , spoke 3 languages, accommodated everybody. The tour ended up being 12 hours long as we got stuck in traffic on the way back. Just do it! You won't regret it.
