Day 1 - Palermo
Welcome to Sicily! After arriving at your hotel in Palermo, you will meet with your guide for this 9 Day Tour. Meeting with the guide in the afternoon. Dinner included and overnight in Palermo.
Day 2: Monreale, Palermo, Marsala
Day 2 is when the travel begins after breakfast at the Hotel and your first stop will be a visit of Monreale: the Norman architecture predominates in the style of Monreale, famous for its cathedral with mosaics on a gold background that cover its surface and its walls. You will then return to discover all of the fascinating treasures that the city of Palermo holds. A few of the treasures include preserved monuments, the Palatine Chapel, and the Fountain Square Pretoria. Lunch is not included, but we will make a stop at the historic focacceria San Francesco. After free time for lunch, we will keep visit he city centre, such as Teatro Massimo, before moving to Marsala, where the visit to a famous wine cellar awaits your arrival, along with some delicious wine tastings. Check in at your hotel, where you will dine and spend the night.
Day 3: Marsala, Salt Road, Selinunte, Agrigento
After breakfast, we will visit the colorful Marsala. We will enjoy the discovery of Saline, admiring Stagnone islands, a natural reserve of great environmental importance, habitat of procted species of fish and shellfish. No trip to Sicily is complete without a visit to the ancient Greek city in Selinunte where you can be transformed back in time. We will visit this priceless archaeological treasure protected by UNESCO, before some free time for lunch. In the afternoon it's time for our arrival in Agrigento, to visit the remains of the ancient Akragas Archeological Heritage Site that encompasses the Temple of Concordia, the Temple of Heracles, and the Temple of Juno. Accommodation at the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Piazza Armerina, Ragusa, Catania
After breakfast, depart for Piazza Armerina, a UNESCO site internationally renowned. History is alive at the Villa Romana del Casale in the Piazza Armerina and you will relish the mosaics that show pictures of hunting and mythological scenes. Here you will enjoy some free time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will wander through the Ibleo Garden and churches while visiting the city of Ragusa. You will be enchanted by its historical center "Ibla", with its fifty churches and palaces in the Baroque style, made famous thanks to the Italian writer Camilleri, and now even more popular thanks to the TV series "Montalbano". Get yourself ready for a tasting of local products in Ragusa. Transfer to hotel in Catania for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Catania, Lipari
After breakfast at hotel, private transfer to Milazzo. Board your hydrofoil heading to Lipari, the biggest one among the Aeolian Islands. Once you reach Lipari, transportation to the Hotel will be provided.

Day 6: Panarea and Stromboli
Departure for the excursion of a full day to Panarea and Stromboli, after breakfast, but first short visit of the pumice quarries. Visit Calajunco natural bay of Panarea and stop adjacent Zimmari. Departure for the scenic ride to the harbor between the islands visiting the Cave of lovers. You will then land on the island where you can have lunch, relax, explore the island and buy some souvenirs. Continuing to Ginostra, a tiny fishing village, and then to Stromboli Island, admiring Sciara del Fuoco, the enchanting slope where lava rivers flow, and the rock of Strombolicchio. We will dine on the island and then, at sunset, return below the Sciara, to admire the colours of the volcanic explosion.
Day 7: Lipari, Salina
After breakfast, the morning will be devoted to the discovery of the most beautiful bays of Lipari and to the departure to the island of Salina, with some free time for shopping local products such as Malvasìa fortified wine. After skirting the island, you can swim in the beautiful bay of Pollara, then stop at Lingua, a fishing village where you can visit the salt lake from which the island takes its name. Visit the caves of Lipari on the way back and have one last swim in the beach of Vinci. Afternoon at will and free dinner. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 8: Lipari, Taormina
Today you will leave the Eolian islands, after breakfast at the Hotel in Lipari. Hydrofoil from the Port to Millazzo and then transportation to Taormina and check in at the Hotel. You will have a free day to visit this charming city with its artistic treasures and to have some shopping. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel
Day 9: Taormina
Enjoy the last breakfast at the hotel, then the tour of Sicily and the Aeolian Islands ends.
