    Enjoy playing 18 holes at the Olgiata Golf Club, where you will have fun and train your swing through 27 holes, 3 Putting Greens, a driving range with indoor and outdoor positions, far from traffic and just few kilometers from the big road circle surrounding Rome. The Olgiata Golf Club opened in 1961, made by the English architect C.Kenneth Cotton and restyled in 1996 by the American architect Jim Fazio.

    The Olgiata Golf Club, among other Italian clubs, is one which has welcomed the biggest number of national and international competitions (the Italian Open 2002, among others). It offers a very technical itinerary of 18 holes and 72 par, for an overall 6,347 meters. The main feature of this Golf course is its strong personality that is rarely found in other similar structures in Italy.

    We can assure you will remember every single shot you made, because all the holes vary incredibly from each other. Besides, there have been recent changes to some areas of the course in the past 2 years in terms of obstacles (artificial lakes and streams) and greensward, have further accentuated the greatest feature of the Olgiata Golf Club, its distinctiveness. The Olgiata Golf Club also offers a Pro Shop and a welcoming bar and restaurant.

    The eXPerience includes the green fee, booking the tee time, golf bag and cart rental (either manual or electric) for 18 holes. This is a standard package, but you can add other optional services such as a 30-minute lesson with a PGAI teacher (from the Italian Professional Golf Association), participating in the day competition and transfer service to and from the Club.

    Una certezza

    Sono ritornato all’Olgiata dopo due anni, e l’ho ritrovato in ottima forma, sempre una bella bestia da domare. Le distanze sono considerevoli, i colpi al green sono quasi sempre con bastoni piuttosto lunghi, i green hanno pendenze di ogni tipo e sono belli veloci, come si conviene ad un campo che ha ospitato l’Open d’Italia anni fa e che lo ospiterà di nuovo fra pochi anni. L’unica cosa che non ho gradito è stata l’“inversione di par” delle buche 5 e 6: la prima è stata accorciata a par 4, la seconda allungata a par 5, mi piacevano di più prima, ma sono dettagli. Il campo era in condizioni perfette per la stagione, già bello asciutto e perfettamente giocabile, anche se, ovviamente, data la sua difficoltà, va giocato tutto senza concedersi un attimo di distrazione, se non si vuole incappare nel “disastro”. Il posto è sempre splendido e l’accoglienza ottima. Un esperienza golfistica da non mancare.

    Uno dei più bei golf clubs d'Italia

    Da molti anni nei top ten d'Italia. 18 buche da campionato, 9 executive, ampia club-house, piscina, palestra, sauna, massaggi, ottimo ristotante, aperto 7/7, intensa vita sociale.

    Il miglior circolo di Roma

    Non ha paragoni. Campo stupendo (oggi piu che mai, dopo i numerosi interventi), ristorante fantastico a prezzi ragionevolissimi, spogliatoi grandi, caddi-master cortesi, campo pratica, sala cinema, biliardo, carte, sauna, piscina.. Insomma il piu bel circolo di Roma
