Day 1: Palermo
Welcome to Sicily! Arrive independently to the hotel hotel in Palermo (contact us for an optional private transfer from the airport). In the evening you will meet your tour-leader and your travel companions. Dinner and overnight in hotel. Palermo.
Day 2: Monreale - Palermo
After breakfast in the hotel, the first stop of the day will be Monreale, famous for its cathedral with mosaics on a gold background that cover its surface and its walls. You will then return to discover all of the fascinating treasures that the city of Palermo holds. A few of the treasures include preserved monuments, the Palatine Chapel, and the Fountain Square Pretoria. You will also have a stop for a food surprise in a local bakery. After free time for lunch (NOT included), keep visiting the city centre. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Cefalù - Catania
After breakfast at the hotel, the day will begin by visiting Cefalù, an enchanting seaside village with breathtaking views and picturesque alleys.
You will then continue to the next stop, Catania. After a short break for lunch (not included), you will begin the visit of the historic center of the city, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the splendid Piazza del Duomo with its Cathedral to via dei crociferi, where the Monastery of San Benedetto is located, you will be enchanted by the charm of this city. There will be a short gastronomic stop in a bar for a typical brioche with granita!

Day 4: Etna - Taormina
After breakfast at the hotel, you will first visit Catania's fish market and then head to the first stop of the day: Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, where you will not only be able to admire incredible landscapes but also to get to know its vast variety of flora and fauna. In this area excellent wines and other local gastronomic excellences are produced and at the end of the visit you will get to to taste artisanal honey and more typical local products.We will then continue to Taormina, where, after some free time for lunch, you will visit the splendid Greek theater enjoying a wonderful view of the Gulf of Naxos. You will then stroll through the elegant streets of the center, for shopping or simply to immerse yourself in the splendid atmosphere of the city.
Return to Catania, through the beautiful Riviera dei Ciclopi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Catania.
Day 5: Catania - Lipari
After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy the beautiful Catania. In the late morning, private transfer to Milazzo. Board your hydrofoil heading to Lipari, the biggest one among the Aeolian Islands. Once you reach Lipari, transportation to the hotel will be provided. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Please note that the tour escort will be present until the evening of Day 4.
Day 6: Lipari - Salina
After breakfast, discover the most beautiful bays of Lipari and to the departure to the island of Salina, with some free time for shopping local products such as Malvasìa fortified wine. After skirting the island, you can swim in Cave di Pomice,in the beautiful bay of Pollara, then stop at Lingua, a fishing village where you can visit the salt lake from which the island takes its name. Here you will have free time to visit the island, its Lago Salato or enjoy typical restaurants for lunch (NOT included). Join also the caves of Lipari on the way back and have one last swim in the beach of Vinci. Back to Lipari, dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 7: Panarea - Stromboli
After breakfast, departure for the excursion of a full day to Panarea and Stromboli, but first short visit of the pumice quarries. Visit Calajunco, natural bay of Panarea and stop adjacent Zimmari. Departure for the scenic ride to the harbor between the islands visiting the Cave of lovers. You will then land on the island where you can have lunch (packed lunch INSTEAD OF dinner), relax, explore the island and buy some souvenirs. Continuing to Ginostra, a tiny fishing village, and then to Stromboli Island, admiring Sciara del Fuoco, the enchanting slope where lava rivers flow, and the rock of Strombolicchio. Return to the hotel for the overnight.
Day 8: Lipari - Taormina
After breakfast, transfer to Lipari harbour to take the hydrofoil for Milazzo. There you will meet your driver a private transfer to Taormina, a charming town renowned for its magnificent position above the sea commanding a celebrated view of Etna. Join your free time for a nice walk among the picturesque Medieval typical narrow streets, go shopping and looking around the local handcraft (coral jewels, handmade ceramics). Dinner and overngiht in Hotel in Taormina.
Day 9
After breakfast at the hotel, end of services.
