3 hour Jewish Ghetto and Trastavere walking tour
I did a guided tour with Inger of the old Jewish Ghetto area and Trastavere. It was fantastic! She is a wonderful and enthusiastic guide and kept me captivated for the whole tour. She answered questions really well and explained everything in so much detail. This is a fantastic tour as you see parts of Rome a little bit of the tourist trail and learn things that you wouldn't otherwise have any idea about. If you have time to spare in Rome definitely book this tour!

Definitely Doing This Again!
We had three days in Rome and decided to book a walking tour of Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto. Our walking tour through the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere was unforgettable. A very big thank you to Inger who made history come alive for us - a very emotional and informative tour. We particularly enjoyed observing Vespers at the Church of Santa Cecilia. The tour commenced at dusk and lasted about 2.5 hours. We loved the look of that area of Rome at night.

Four Tours - Loved them all
We took the ancient Rome, Jewish ghetto & Trastevere, Appian Way/Catacombs & Vatican tours. We loved them all. Valentina, an archeologist who did the ancient Rome tour, merits additional praise. It was just the two of us with her. I'm a history teacher and when she saw how genuinely interested we were and all the questions we asked she just ran with it! She went way over the time allotted for the tour because she seemed to be enjoying herself talking about this stuff too! A true passion for her subject. We actually had to force a tip on her because she insisted she had so much fun. I've looked at some of the other reviews, so I guess it really depends on the guide you have and how big your group is. I suppose we were lucky.
