Enjoy a food tour in the heart of Emilia-Romagna

The culinary traditions of Parma are mostly famous for two products: the Parmiggiano-Reggiano cheese and the Prosciutto di Parma. With our tour you will finally discover those two typical products of excellence of Italian food.
You will visit a real dairy farm where those products are put to rest. You will discover how they are preserved and all the processing techniques, and you will learn with the "Marino wind", the wind blowing from the Ligurian Sea to the hills of Parma, is so necessary to the curing of the prosciutto.

Admire the imposing Castle of Torrechiara

In the morning, you will have the opportunity to stop in the small medieval village of Torrechiara dominated by the castle built in 1448 by Pier Maria Rossi for his mistress, Bianca Pellegrini.  A stop in the history before heading towards the countryside hills and visit one of the wineries that produce the "Colli di Parma" DOC quality wine.
In the winery, you will enjoy a hearty lunch of typical products, accompanied by a glass of wines produced right from the cellar, such as Lambrusco or Malvasia.

Visit a vinegar factory to taste the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena

One of the most popular flavors of the Emilian cuisine is born in this area... Our  tour will take you in the area between Reggio Emilia and Modena for a visit to a vinegar factory, where you'll taste the true balsamic vinegar from Modena and you will understand what makes it so unique.
The location of this factory, including barrels and production processes, will end with a tasting session of the product for a perfect end of a day dedicated to good food.
