Day 1: Venice - Bologna - Modena area - La Spezia
Meeting in Venice with the tour leader in the morning to depart for the first stop of the day: Bologna. Here you will have time at leisure to visit the symbols of this beautiful city (like the impressive Piazza Maggiore and the Asinelli and Garisenda Towers) and enjoy an Italian lunch (NOT included) in a typical restaurant.
In the afternoon it will be time to proceed towards the area of Modena, for a surprise tasting of one of the most world-renowed classic Italian products: the balsamic vinegar!
After the visit, you will move to La Spezia: you will reach the hotel for the check-in and then have dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight.
Day 2: La Spezia - Cinque Terre - La Spezia
After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for an unforgettable day tour! You will will embark on a boat and train trip of Cinque Terre (only by train in case of bad weather conditions).
You will discover one of the most colorful areas in the world and enjoy the wonderful landscapes and the view of the small towns overlooking the sea, in a land surrounded by hills and ancient vineyards. You will arrive in the beautiful Portovenere, overlooking the Golfo dei Poeti, and then in the beautiful village of Vernazza, a small fishing village, surrounded by olive trees and breathtaking landscapes. Finally, explore the beautiful Monterosso and its fantastic beaches. Lunch is NOT included!
At the end of the visit, you will return to La Spezia. Here you will have free time to have dinner at leisure (NOT included) and then overnight.
Day 3: La Spezia - Pisa - Florence
After breakfast, you will leave towards Pisa. Have a walk in the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, admiring from the outside the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Baptistery. So you can enjoy some free time for lunch (NOT included) and maybe for some shopping, before leaving for the next destination: Florence.
Upon arrival, join a guided walking tour of the Florence city centre: pass through its symbolic spots, such as Piazza del Duomo, Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio.
Check-in at the hotel and then have free time to have dinner at leisure (NOT included) and overnight.
Day 4: Florence
After breakfast, join your day at leisure to explore Florence on your own. If you like art and monuments, we suggest you to visit the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery.
If you prefer to have a walk in nature and admire naturalisti overviews, do not miss Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Chianti area in the beautiful Tuscany. Contact us for any other suggestion! Lunch is NOT included
At the end of the day, return at the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Florence - San Gimignano - Siena - Rome
After breakfast, proceed towards San Gimignano. Here you will have time at disposal to visit the little medieval town, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Then you will depart to Siena: join a guided walking tour of the historical city centre, around Piazza del Campo, famous all over the world for its architectural beauty and unique "shell" shape. You will also have free time for lunch (NOT included).
In the afternooon, board on your bus and arrive in Rome, where the tour will end.
