Day 1: Catania

Day 2: Catania and surroundings
Immediately after having breakfast at your hotel you will take a tour round Acireale where you will visit beautiful seaside villages such as Santa Maria la Scala, Stazzo, Pozzillo, Capo Mulini. You can also go through the “Chiazzette” route, in the Timpa Nature Reserve, if you love nature. In the afternoon you will be taken on a walking tour along the amazing Riviera dei Ciclopi; the tour then moves to Aci Castello; an ancient fishing village which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will also visit the ancient fish market; Pescheria and Piazza Duomo; featuring a cathedral and the lava stone elephant. Then walk along the splendid baroque Via dei Crociferi, you will get to admire the S. Benedict Monastery, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 3: Mount Etna – Alcantara Gorges – Taormina
The tour will take you to Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. During this tour, you will get to taste Etna honey from local beekeepers. You will also be opportune to reach Crateri Silvestri, an inactive volcano. Later in the day, you can visit Alcantara Gorges; a volcanic Sicilian canyon, this is an amazing site for canoeing; one you can indulge yourself in. You can also visit Taormina and its amazing Greek-Roman Theater, the ancient Duomo, and Palazzo Corvaja.
Day 4: Cefalù – Palermo
The tour starts with a trip to the medieval town of Cefalù, known for its Norman cathedral. You will be taking a walking tour next through the city centre and also visit the famous Mandralisca Museum. Your next stop is the Palermo; a city with a history of strong kings and emirs and also houses monuments of the Arab-Norman kingdom. You will also get the opportunity to visit Cappella Palatina, built by Byzantine, Muslim and Latin workers. Another famous place to visit is the Monreale which is home to the Arab-Norman Cathedral. In the evening you can discover the picturesque Palermo city centre.
Day 5: Zingaro Nature Reserve
Today you will be visiting the sea village of Western Sicily. It will be a day of walking at the Zingaro Nature Reserve. This spellbinding 7km coastline features blues from the seas and greens from the forest. The next stop is the Scopello bay, one stop you should not miss.
Day 6: Scopello – Castellamare del Golfo
This is another day to enjoy the sea, sun and very beautiful landscape. Scopello offers you the opportunity to dive and also enjoy the beautiful beach of Tonnara. Enjoy a stroll through Castellamare del Golfo a small but beautiful town.
Day 7: Erice – Segesta
The tour starts at the Segesta Archaeological Park which still preserves one of the most charming of Greek age; the Doric Tempio Solitario. Then you can visit Erice the medieval village; with its lovely little lanes littered with local craft shops. You can visit the salt pans of Trapani, Via del Sale and Salt Museum.
Day 8: Agrigento
Agrigento is your first stop, and after a small rest, you will get to visit Valle dei Templi, and has declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will get to admire Tempio di Giunone, Tempio della Concordia, Tempio di Ercole.
Day 9: Agrigento (Torre Salsa Nature Reserve – Scala dei Turchi)
The journey moves to Siculiana Marina where the beautiful and pristine Torre Salsa Nature Reserve is located. And after exploring the Torre Salsa Nature Reserve the tour moves to Realmonte coast, near Porto Empedocle (AG). In this amazing place you can dive and explore the Scala dei Turchi.
Day 10: Ragusa – Noto
Today’s tour leads you to the Eastern part of Sicily to the Noto. You will get to see very amazing places such as the Falconara Castle and Licata where you will be opportune take a swim break. The trip then leads to the Ragusa Ibla, the Sicilian Baroque jewel littered with beautiful visit Scicli, Pachino and Marina di Ragusa, before getting to Noto. At Noto, you will get the opportunity to visit Palazzo Nicolaci Villadorata, a residence built in Baroque style.
Day 11: Vendicari Nature Reserve – Valle dell’Anapo – San Lorenzo
You will enjoy your free visiting day, and you can spend walking through all the game reserves and also enjoy the clear waters and very beautiful landscapes of these areas that will keep you spellbound.
Day 12: Isola delle Correnti – Marzamemi – Portopalo
Another day you can use to relax along the Sicily eastern coast at the northern are part of the Vendicari Nature Reserve you have beaches, and at the south, you will get to Isola delle Correnti. You can go to Spinazza and S. Lorenzo (in Marzamemi), Cala Mosche and La Citadella (Vendicari), Carratois (around Portopalo).
Day 13: Noto – Catania
After breakfast, you will return to Catania or Comiso Airport.
