Semiprivate guided tour of Venice with aperitivo and gondola ride

This fantastic walking tour of Venice will allow you to visit in a short few hours all the most significant places in the city, taste typical food, and travel aboard a romantic gondola. All accompanied by the precious story of your professional guide

A stroll through the streets and bridges

Your semi-private walking tour through the streets of Venice will begin when you meet your expert guide who will lead you through the enchanting and centuries-old calli, between bridges and rughette (this is the name of the narrowest streets) to discover hidden glimpses and sumptuous palaces in the Gothic style that has seen prominent figures in history, politics, literature and cinema pass over time. The enigmatic charm of the city and the lagoon will surprise you at every step.

Piazza San Marco, the tasty Cicchetti and the Rialto Bridge

You will reach the heart of the Serenissima, Piazza San Marco, a place made of colors and the mixture between the natural beauty of the lagoon and the architectural majesty of the buildings that overlook it. You can admire the majestic Basilica of San Marco with its Gothic facade rich in Byzantine elements. A little further on you will find the imposing Palazzo Ducale, once the residence of the Doge, the government and the court. It is from the latter that the famous Bridge of Sighs departs - like a suspended corridor - an obligatory passage for all prisoners awaiting trial. It is said that the name of the bridge is due to the sign that the inmates emitted while observing, perhaps for the last time, the outside world.
A day dedicated to tradition and history could not be said to be complete without a touch of taste. To discover the typical culinary side of Venice, you will taste the exquisite "Cicchetti" (from the Latin Ciccus which means small quantity), delicious morsels whose composition depends on the time of year and which serve as an appetizer in Venetian lunches. A light but tasty break to embellish your day. (available until March 2023)
The last stop of the tour will be the Rialto Bridge, one of the symbols of Venice, on which you will walk while your guide will tell you how some mean-minded people predicted that the futuristic structure of the bridge would have collapsed shortly after its construction.
At the end of the walking tour there will be time for a tasty Italian aperitivo! (From April 2023 a typical Venetian spritz will be included)
