The day will start with a walking tour around the city centre of Florence. Your guide will take you to explore the main spots, explainig you all the details of the history and architecture of the squares. It will give you the opportunity to see places like the Piazza Della Signoria, the town hall; Palazzo Vecchio, the Baptistery, the Cathedral, Santa Trinita and Orsanmichele Church. You will also have time to stroll around the most famous shopping streets, and the manual craft neighborhood.
The second stop of the day is the visit to the Accademia Gallery. You will avoid queue at the entrance thanks to the skip the line priority tickets included in the tour. With your guide, you will get to discover first of all the original Michelangelo's masterpiece, the statue of David, that dominates the central gallery of the Museum. The statue was built out entirely of Carrara marble, in 1504. The Accademia Gallery museum houses also other masterpieces by Michelangelo, along with many painting and sculptures, from the middle ages to the Renaissance age, rendered by the greatest artists that ever lived, such as Botticelli and Paolo Uccello.
