Best cooking class in Rome

We spent a great time in a relaxing and homely atmosphere with two amazing and inspiring people: Paola and Carlo, thus having fantastic opportunity to immerse ourselves in delicious Italian cuisine. If you have enough time you should definitely ask Paola to take you to the vineyard nearby Rome :-). Apart from the cooking experience we got plenty of information...

A surprisingly enjoyable experience!

While visiting Rome in mid-April, 2014 ( with my family of 8) we had the most enjoyable experience meeting Paola and Carlo, during their enchanted culinary class. Their warmth and humor, their knowledge and professionalism in preparing authentic Italian food, and the delightful meal we shared together, will be remembered and cherished for many years ahead.

Truly Italian!

Loved it! I love to cook and it was so much fun to learn the Italian way. The meal we cooked was easy enough for a novice to follow, yet complex enough for an experienced cook, and one you can try to recreate in your own kitchen and one you can easily master with practice. I would definitely recommend this experience for anyone wanting to learn more about Italian food. Paola and Carlo's hospitality made us feel like we were with family.

Highlight of our trip!

We planned a private cooking class with just our family of four, including kids aged 12 and 8. Carlo had planned a simple but hands-on, easily accessible meal that we all could participate in making. The class lasted about 3 1/2 hours (including the eating), but the kids were never bored, and we adults learned a great deal as well. (The menu included ravioli with ricotta and lemon zest, saltimbocca, Roman artichokes, and a fennel/orange/olive salad, followed by gelato.) It is a wonderful -- and delicious -- way to learn about a culture, and I would highly recommend it to other families or groups!
