Day 2: Castel del Monte - Trani
After breakfast, depart to discover Castel del Monte, one of the most mysterious and fascinating castles in the Southern Italy, designed by Frederick II of Swabia. It has an octagonal base and was built around 1240. Day 3: Matera - Alberobello
After breakfast, depart to discover another significant tourist attraction: Matera, also known as the "Stone City" and "Underground City", the place of Sassi, a World Heritage Site. Matera is considered one of the most suggestive places in southern Italy; it was declared Unesco Site on 1993 and European Capital of Culture in 2019. You will enjoy a guided walking tour that will take you to discover the history of a town carved into rock, where inhabitants still lived until the XX century. Trulli are ancient, conical buildings made of stone, specific for central and southern of Apulia. Day 4: Ostuni - Lecce
After breakfast, depart to discover Ostuni, also called "The White City". It stands out for its characteristic old town with totally white painted houses.
